This product is synergistically formulated with kelp and fossilized plant humus, and provides a wide spectrum of trace minerals in minute amounts. Colloidal minerals are plant-derived minerals leached out from humic shale, a natural mineral ore consisting of prehistoric plant material buried in rock. Kelp provides a rich natural source of the mineral iodine, an important mineral required by the thyroid gland, an organ which is involved in the regulation of the body’s metabolism. Dietary deficiencies of trace minerals may occur due to malnutrition, poor diets or due to a low mineral content in either the soil or water. |
